Makeup Atelier eyeshadows. Review, photos and swatches
Makeup Atelier is a very well known and respected brand in the makeup artists world. I wanted to try out their products and eyeshadows for a really long time. In France there is an online shop where you can order everything but as I’ve never tested their products before I was not so sure. So [...]
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. Review, photos and swatches.
Foundation vs BB cream seems to be the big question. Me I tested a lot of foundations and some BB creams. I must say that I never was the fan if the latter. Missha Pefect Cover is actually the only Asian BB cream I own, the others ones I tested were samples. Now I think [...]
It seems like I am the last person in the world to get this palette. At first, it seemed so dull and boring to me: just some nude eyeshadows. I decided not to order it. But everyone’s been raving so much about this palette so it just stayed on my radar. So when we’ve last [...]
Face primers…normally I skip that step but as we’re moving to China where the climate is subtropical I decided I need to make sure my makeup will last longer. As in, much longer, I need it to be sweat- and action-proof. So I decided to look around for a good primer. And suddenly my eyes [...]
Did you notice lately a lot of spring posts on my blog? Well, I did, too. There’s a reason for that, I can explain: I love spring, I love warm weather, beach, sun, good weather, warm wind in the face, ice creams and maaaany other stuff…but it just seems like not coming yet! I wonder: [...]
I’ve had so many good reactions and comments on the manicure that I posted on my Instagram and this look that I decided to do a photo tutorial on it. I wanted to do something different from a video and as I’ve never done a photo tutorial before I figured – why not try? If you like this format of post, or if you don’t – let me know, your opinion is important to me!
I was writing articles for this week and I just felt like writing about manicure so I decided to do a manicure week out of it! So the 3 upcoming articles will be all about manicure and nails – I hope you enjoy!

I've seen your review on about Clarisonic Mia. Could you answer a couple of questions please:
1) What are the delivery costs and how much time will it take?
2) Could you send me seller's link.
Thanks a lot.
1) shipping costs depend on seller and your country. On ebay you can check this very easily: go to “shipping and payments” and choose your country. If the delivery costs are not specified you can send seller a message. The delivery terms depend again on your country: if you’re from Europe the delivery time will be up to 2 weeks. It may be longer, it may be less, this is very approximate. It depends on which country you order from and your country’s coupostal services
2) I ordered my clarisonic a long time ago, I don’t remember seller’s name anymore. I chose the cheapest one among the sellers with good rating (98-100%) and buyers’ reviews. Good luck!
You can ask your question by clicking on the ‘Ask Me’ button in the menu or you can follow this link.
It’s incredible but this is the first budget look I’m ever posting on my blog! This morning I didn’t know what to use and I just started doing something, like I often do. In the end I was quite surprised that I’ve only used budget products!
For my face I used Mentholatum Tinted UV milk and Essence matt powder. They all work quite well but I’d like it even better if the tinted milk gave a bit more coverage. Read more »
Normally I upload videos on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but this week I can’t upload my Friday video due to my VPN problems – if you didn’t know YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and many other websites are blocked in China. Normally I use VPN and can still use them but not this week – as our VPN connection didn’t work. So I couldn’t upload this week’s video. New video will be up on Monday! And today I decided to do an article about makeup habits – just share my thoughts on it with you!
For me, I remove my makeup as soon as I get home. I just don’t feel comfortable wearing a lot of makeup when I’m at home. When I know I will not leave my house or I just don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup – I only do like super-minimum makeup: I use brow powder, mascara, nude eye pencil on my waterline and lipgloss. Brows and eyelashes make my face and that way skin can breathe and get some rest. I think it’s important to let skin rest from makeup from time to time. Sometimes when I have more time I also do a mask – I love doing masks, I do them 3 times a week. Not the same kind of course. I love taking care of my skin!
I wash my face twice a day every single day – cleansing your skin is essential! I never do a face massage, I think a professional should do that.
Whether I have bad makeup habits…I don’t know. What I really don’t like and what I’m trying to get rid of is the face that I rub my eyes when I wake up. But it’s so hard to get rid of that! Because it happens when I’m only half awake so I don’t really control it. I am trying to think about it everyday though!
My Beauty Diary Natto Mask is enriched with Natto extract, which contains Isoflavones to prevent formation of free radicals, reducing the appearance of all signs of aging, such as wrinkles, slacking etc.
It also contains r-PGA which not only forms a moisture film on skin to prevent moisture loss, but also permeates into skin to boost NMF (Natural Moisture Factor). Bio-active Silanols and Algae Extract work to restore radiance and elasticity.
For all skin types, particularly for dull, dry, loose skin.*
I like sheet masks and I think this is really a nice concept. From quite some sheet masks that I’ve tried already this one is definitely not the worst one. Like all others, once applied the face feels directly more hydrated, skin feels smooth and I can almost feel it ‘drinking’. This mask is really soothening, nourishing and moisturizing. I can’t properly say if it’s anti-aging properties are good enough because I don’t have many wrinkles yet but I liked my skin after it a lot. On the pictures I don’t see any difference at all but I did feel it – it hydrated my skin more than Aloe or Hyaluronic Acid mask. What I also liked is that it did a great job on calming my skin down – it looks a bit less red especially on the area around my nose (my problem area). In the end, I think I might repurchase this one.
Recently I’ve been invited to write a guest post for Saints & Slimmers! How cool is that! Saints & Slimmers is a website where you can get a personalized diet plans and meal replacements, but they also have a blog with interesting tips for face and body. I wrote an article about DIY masks – you can read it here! I hope you enjoy this article.
Today I’ll be talking about eye care. I bought this eye cream a couple of months ago so now I am ready to share my opinion on it with you! Tadaa, this is today’s hero:
Product description of Galenic Nectalys Smoothing Refreshing Eye Care:
Ultra-refreshing and draining Refreshing Smoothing Eye Cream smoothes fine lines and reduces the look of dark circles and puffiness.
Your eyes will be illuminated with new radiance.*
This cream comes in a 15 ml pump tube:
Product description and ingredients:
This cream has a light texture. It gets absorbed really fast.
In the beginning when I just started to use this cream, I used it only in the morning and I used my Clinique Anti Gravity at night. I felt some light irritation in the eyes but back then I thought it was my mascara which caused it. But right now that I’ve used up the cream from Clinique, I can tell you 100%: Galenic Nectalys doesn’t irritate my eyes or cause allergies but it does cause sand in the eyes. You know, little pieces of something that gather in the eye corners? And sometimes it can be really annoying. Besides that, it doesn’t hydrate my eyes at all. Frankly, I think my eyes are in worse shape now than they were before I started to use this eye cream. No lifting, no hydration, nothing. Too bad, I liked it a lot at first!
