This has been like forever since that I’ve ordered a sample set of Lumiere Cosmetics Loose Mineral Foundations. On their official website you can order a sample set. You can choose from all possible formulas and shades. Which is great if you want to find out the best formula and shade for you! I decided to split this article into 2 parts because it would get huge otherwise. So today I will do the swatches for the powders that I’ve got and explanations of the formulas. Next time I will review every powder one by one and give you my thoughts about Lumiere Cosmetics Loose Mineral Foundations.
So the first thing about these foundations that you need to know is that the first thing you have to decide for yourself when you’re going to order these powders is your skin undertone. I’ve read all the descriptions on the website and all of them had something that was matching for me. The powders come in:
- warm and
- untinted colors.
Then when you’re done with color you can choose from 4 different formulas:
- veena velvet
- flawless face
Veena Velvet is for normal to oily skin type and it gives buildable light medium to heavy coverage with matte finish.
Flawless Face is for normal to dry skin. It gives medium to heavy coverage and matte finish.
Luminesse is for all skin types and gives buildable light to medium coverage with silky glow, not shimmery finish.
Cashmere is also for all skin types. It gives buildable light to medium coverage with mostly matte finish.
This is how those foundations are described on the official website of Lumiere Cosmetics. After you’ve applied these foundations you are supposed to use setting powder to keep your makeup in place. I mean…mineral brands definitely don’t make it easy for users to choose something. So I decided I will order a bit of everything and will see then. I could choose 8 different products to try. As I was interested in mineral foundations only I made the following choice:
- Flawless Finish Sheer (this is a setting powder)
- Veena Silk Veil Sheer (this is another setting powder)
- Veena Velvet in Fair Neutral
- Cashmere in Light Neutral
- Flawless Face in Light Medium Neutral
- Luminesse in Light Cool
- Luminesse in Light Beige
- Luminesse in Light Medium Neutral
Here are the swatches:
Some powders are invisible on my hands (like the transparent setting powders) so I used a pencil to separate the swatches to you can see it better.
You can order Lumiere Cosmetics Loose Mineral Foundation Base Powders and a sample kit on the official website of Lumiere Cosmetics: lumierecosmetics.com.
Next time I will review each powder one by one and will give you my opinion on those powders! Don’t miss it.
