Sometimes we all have the ‘lesser beauty moments’. For example, you colored your hair and you don’t like the result. Or you did a facial and look like Samantha from SATC after a peeling. Or you went to a brow bar and the result is…well, let’s say it is less than expected.
And yep, the later is exactly my case. My eye brows lost its shape and there’s almost nothing left. So I figured that I desperately needed something that will help me solve this little delicate problem. Because you all know, how important are the eyebrows…So in the case like mine, when you’re lacking brow hair, I find that it’s the best to use a brow pencil. Why not a brow powder? On my experience, brow powders work best if your brows are fine, you just need to fill them in a bit. When you need to draw something by, it’s the best to use a good eye pencil. I remember I’ve had Dior Brown Pencil before, I quite liked it. Besides, Dior was the only brand that I could find at my local store that had a shade that was ashy, not orangy. Here is the pencil that saved my day:
The set consists of brow pencil and sharpener. I love those sharpeners they’re really good! The brow pencil has an in-built brush which is quite handy, too. I mean, it’s hard to spoil this kind of brushes.
I took Dior Powder Eyebrow Pencil in the shade 453 Sable/Sand. It is a nice ashy medium brown. Which appeared to be quite rare! Almost all the other brow pencils I tested from the other brands all were orangy. This was the only ashy pencil of medium tone I could find! Not that I am not happy with my choice.
Here I applied Dior Powder Eyebrow Pencil on my right eye brow (your left):
Here I applied it on the other eye brow, too:
This is a great quality eye brow pencil that helps me draw eye brows out of nothing, it applies nicely, has quite smooth texture. It is quite longlasting, normally I apply eyebrow gel over it just to keep my eyebrows in shape but even if I don’t do that they stay in the same way till the evening. I like it a lot, is a nice basic product that I’m sure everyone will enjoy using! The only problem is the shades, you have to test these brow pencils to find a matching shade.
