I wrote you already that I was looking for a perfect budget eyeliner pen. In the shop I tested Essence Super Fine Eyeliner Pen and was kindly surprised: it was really thin, easy to work with and black. Also, it seemed to be longlasting as I was rubbing away the swatches on my hand but they just didn’t want to disappear! So I decided to give it a try.
It looks like a basic eyeliner pen: nothing special. Packaging is ok, I have nothing to complain about. What I really like about this eyeliner is its thin brush: it’s got a felt tip which is very long and thin. It is comfy to work with! I love it a lot. It reminded me of Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner: it worked just as great. But I am allergic to some ingredient in Maybelline eyeliner so I couldn’t use it.
The color of Essence Super Fine Eyeliner Pen is black. It’s just black, not blackest ultra deep black. Just normal, standard black color.
This is how it looks on my eyes. See how thin the line is?
On my eyes I am also wearing Essence Class of 2013 Eyeshadow pen in 01 Want To Be My Freshman, Catrice Precision Eye Pencil in 110 My Ninja Purple and Catrice Allround mascara.
This is a good budget everyday product. It doesn’t matter if you’re experienced with eyeliners or not, this one is very easy to use. You can’t mess up! All due to its very thin and long tip. The disadvantage is that this eyeliner is not waterproof. If there is a smallest amount of wind, my eyes get all watery and if I’m wearing a winged eyeliner, the wing will disappear, like it never existed. It doesn’t leave messy black pool of product, it just disappears from your face. If your eyes are not sensitive to external factors like mine and if you’re looking for an easy to use budget eyeliner, I think Essence Super Fine Eyeliner Pen is worth trying.
