Hong Kong, Hong Kong: what a beautiful city! Seriously I am more and more in love with it, I just love all the buildings, people, you can feel the life here and actually feel alive! If you haven’t been here yet I tell you: you must go! At least once in your life, it is absolutely incredible!
So yesterday I already reviewed a Chanel lipstick from the Fall 2013 collection, today I’ll review the second (and the last unfortunately) product that was in this bag:
Tadaa! This is a new product, a cream blush: Le Blush Crème de Chanel!
Chanel Cream Blush Le Blush Crème de Chanel: packaging and design
As usual, packaging is very stylish and classy: velvet bag, the box itself is very small (way smaller than the normal blush size) and cute!
I like that it’s really flat and compact! There is 2.5 grams of product in it (0.09 oz) – not really a lot!
Chanel Cream Blush Le Blush Crème de Chanel 62 Présage
As I said yesterday, I felt completely in love with the makeup that model on the promo photo was wearing and as the lady in the Chanel counter told me, she was wearing this shade: 62 Présage.
This color looks so intense in the packaging!
Présage is an intense orangy coral.
Once applied it has a satin finish but it dries up pretty quickly and becomes almost matte. You can see it on the lower swatch where I applied it heavily: the right part of the swatch looks matter than the left one. It dries up really quickly!
You can apply this blush really heavily or blend it out and go for a more subtle look: it’s all upon you to decide. Here I blended it out:
And here are the two swatches side by side. You don’t need a lot of product as it is really pigmented: I only touched the blush once and look at it, my whole hand is orange! So you really need a tiny bit for your cheeks, especially if you want to go for a more subtle look.
There is not much product on the first sight but actually this is not true as you only need a tiny bit of this product to give your cheeks a nice blush. I really love its finish and the face that it’s not shiny, I prefer it that way! Because I can always add more highlighter if I want to, but it can sometimes be hard to get rid of the over-the-top shine. I’ve tested this blush in the hardest conditions: subtropical climate, rainy weather, it’s very hot and humid here and we as we’re only staying in Hong Kong for a week we’re running around like crazy to visit as many places as possible! And I can tell you that this product lasts! I was pretty amazed actually! I love the texture, the quality, the finish, the color – I love pretty everything about this product! It is available in 6 different shades (61 Destiny, 62 Présage, 63 Révélation, 64 Inspiration, 65 Affinité, 66 Fantastic).
Overall note: A+!
