This Monday I decided to start with an eye mask, I wasn’t feeling too well and what can be better than a nice eye mask? Luckily I took some eye patches with me, Mingkou Disappear Fine Line of Eyes Patches. I bought them in China in a small shop called Gialen (this is a drugstore) and I’ve never seen it elsewhere. But Asian products are really popular now so I decided to enjoy my mask and tell you about it.

It comes in a pretty simple box, nothing special about the packaging.

So this mask is supposed to do pretty anything: remove wrinkles and fine lines, help you get rid of puffiness and dark circles. I’m in even if it does half of what it says!

There are 6 individual sachets, each one is for a single use. They’re cut out in the under eye area shape and are made of funny jelly-ish pudding material. It is very soft and gentle for the eyes. And of course it is full of some kind of essence or gel (as the packaging says, with collagen in it).

My opinion:

These patches have a nice jelly texture, they’re soft and gentle for the eyes. I think they’re a slightly hydrating and whitening. They do work like wrinkle fillers but don’t do an awesome job in that, the effect is gone as soon as I wash my face. So they are pretty good in the ‘special occasion’ case, but they won’t do any miracles. What I do love is their cooling, anti-redness and ‘wake me up’ effect.

Overall note: B.

Where you can buy it:

I bought mine in Guangzhou in a shop called Gialen, there are plenty of them in the city. I am not sure if you can buy them somewhere else.

Now some photos. Here is before application, I only applied my eye cream and my face cream:
