Finding a really good mascara is a hard thing. Even though I already found my HG mascara I haven’t stopped looking yet: now I am searching for a budget-proof analogue! Recently I’ve tried and tested some drugstore, non-expensive mascaras and I was a bit disappointed about the quality. Then one day I was making an order at eyeslipsface and decided to try one of their mascaras. Why not? All of them are really affordable (the prices go from 1-5 dollars) and generally I like elf makeup. So I chose the ELF Mineral Infused Mascara.

e.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Mascara: Product Description

The top rated Mineral Infused Mascara creates fuller, healthier looking lashes. Enhance lashes for a naturally thicker and more volumized look. The long-wear formula and unique silicone brush creates a clump free and defined application for gorgeous lashes all day.
I chose this one because I like long and separated lashes and the word “mineral” just makes it sound healthier and better for my own lashes (yep even if I still had some bad experience with mineral makeup in the past, I still go for the word).
The packaging is pretty simple, just a basic matte black tube. I pretty like it actually, I think it looks classy. The letters will fade eventually (you can already see them fading on mine, I took this picture after I’ve used this mascara for some time).
The brush is made of silicone, I think it has a perfect size and shape. It’s easy to work with and it applies the exact amount of product needed. It definitely doesn’t make my lashes clumpy, it keeps them separated which I love. At the top there are shorter bristles which make it easier to apply mascara on the shorter lashes in the eye corners. Yes, great brush!

My opinion:

In the very beginning when I just started using this mascara I was not impressed. At all. Later on when I continued to use it, I started to appreciate it more and more. I love its brush: it has a perfect size and shape and applies the product really well (it doesn’t create any mess, I would say that it’s a “neat” brush) and separates and eyelashes. I love that effect! The lashes look pretty and long. This could be a perfect mascara for me but I would love if it gave just a bit more of a “wow” effect, just a tiny bit more of lengthening. Then I would say “yes it’s my new must-have!” Now I’ll just day that it’s very, very good, especially for the price.

Overall note: A-.
