So as I promised a long time ago, I am making this article about Wedding Show in Chaumont! I was asked to do makeup for a evening and wedding fashion show. It was so cool! I finally finished editing the pictures. It took me so much time, I had more than 900 photos to go through! By the way, if after reading this article, you still want to see more photos, I made a ‘little’ slide show of 175 photos in the end of this post. You can watch it in full-screen mode if you want to!
The main stylist of this show was Patrice Dormont. Sunday, the day of the show, we went to his hair salon, Métamorphoz where the preparations took place. From the early morning till midday, the models’ hair was styled by Patrice and his colleagues Alexandra and Camille, the makeup was done (by me and Cyrielle), the models got dressed.
Here are the models, with hair and makeup done, wearing the gorgeous dresses by Manon Darras. The wedding dress was made by Patrice himself!
But before getting there, a lot of work must have been done. Patrice creating a masterpiece:
And that’s me! Doing makeup. It was so exciting, I was pretty stressed in the beginning! But it’s almost impossible to spoil beauty like this!
Patrice was not the one doing the beautiful hair styles. His colleagues helped him. Alexandra at work:
In the meantime, girls didn’t lose time. Nails had to be done, too!
The hair styles were really beautiful. But it mook much effort and precision to create them!
I wasn’t the only makeup artist of the event. We did it together with a colleague, Cyrielle.
This is her work:
Me doing the bride’s makeup!
And here the almost completed makeup!
I also did the makeup for this little angel. She’s so pretty!
Girls waiting to get dressed!
Guys only need a half an hour to get ready. Waiting and chatting!
Finally it was their turn!
And this is me. A bit tired but so happy!
The girls got dressed so the final touches needed to be done.
Applying some glitter body lotion to look marvelous on the stage!
I decided to do a quick touch-up, too!
And here are my creations. Elizabeth:
Little angel with her ‘date’:
Gorgeous lady:
Everyone is ready! Time for the group photos and some fun!
Time to go now!
But before…a group photo!
Frankly, I could never be a model. It was really cold! Walking around on a street like this…brrr! The bride had a lot of courage! I helped a bit. haha.
As I told you, it was really cold!
Backstage. Patrice making sure the dress is perfect.
Finally, it was time. The show can begin!
What’s in there?
The models on stage!
And finally…Patrice taking the bride on stage!
She is so beautiful!
Groom and bride!
‘May the groom kiss the bride’!
The end of the show was really cool!
Hooray!
If you’d like to see more photos, I made a slideshow!
Voilà my first makeup artist experience! Have you ever been to a wedding show?
