I’ve heard so many good stuff about this concealer! Practically every blogger who ever bought it raves about it and I’ve even heard words like “this is the best drugstore concealer”! So of course as soon as I came to London I had to have it right away! Before the brand was called Collection 2000, now it’s just Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer. By the way, I was a bit confused by this change: at first I hesitated for a long time if this was the product I was looking for but the product’s name was the same so then I understood that they just erased the “2000” from the name.
On the website of Boots I saw that this concealer comes in 4 shades:
In reality, I’ve only seen 3 lightest of them in the offline Boots shop (and they attract me like a magnet, I went into every single one of them…didn’t buy a lot but I guess it’s like an old habit, haha). So of course, I’ve got the lightest shade – Fair. By the way, I love London even just because of the fact that you can always get the lightest shades of every drugstore powder, foundation and concealer!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is a pretty basic concealer in a tube with a sponge applicator. It’s a mystery how much of product there is inside as I couldn’t find it anywhere on the packaging…my guess would be 2ml, the packaging is pretty small.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair.
Here’s the swatch:
Fair is very light. If your skin is not like Snowhite’s one, I think Light will be a perfect choice for you. My skin is very fair at this moment plus I like the area around my eyes to be lighter than the rest of my face so I chose Fair.
Fair is a very light cool beige with a slight pink undertone. Here I blended it out. As my skin is very fair, you can barely tell it’s there!
It is a very good concealer. It does what many concealers don’t do: it covers up my very dark under-eye circles! It does feel a bit dry though and if you’re not a teenager anymore, it will crease/get into your wrinkles. You can perfectly apply 2 coats if you need more coverage (that’s what I generally do, although for the photos I applied only 1 coat). My under eye area doesn’t feel dry but it looks so on the pictures – so I would see this concealer is more for oily or young skin. What is true is that it stays at the place where you applied it: it will not disappear or keep creasing during the day, no, it just stays exactly the way it looked 5 seconds after application. I also like using it on my face and there I agree: it works very well! It gives a good coverage, stays there and the color Fair matches my skin perfectly! Speaking of the price – it’s not very expensive (4.19 pounds) so I think this product is definitely worth trying!
Overall note: A-.
Where to buy:
To help you a bit so you know where exactly you have to be looking in the following pictures, look a this: these are the areas where I applied Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair.
Here I blended it out:
Here I placed the photo where I wear no makeup at all and a photo where I applied Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer side by side.
As you can see, my face looks a lot better with a concealer!
Don’t get scared, I don’t wear any makeup – just the concealer! I wanted to give you a closer look:
And even closer – just the eye! You see, it does look a bit dry! I have to idea if anyone else sees it but I do.
And here I applied the rest of the makeup! All in all, I like the result – I think it gives a nice coverage and isn’t expensive!
