Today I will continue reviewing Holy Land Cosmetics products.
Last time I reviewed cleansing products, toners and hydration.
Holy Land Nighttime Strengthening Balm Calm Red.
This is a night hydrating balm from the Calm Red line (specially for sensitive and redness-prone skin). This balm should hydrate, make your skin soft and smooth, make it look better with no rednesses.
This gel has a very light texture, it gets absorbed within seconds. It didn’t hydrate my face well enough but I must say that my skin was severely dehydrated at the time. This gel didn’t help my skin restore its balance. I used it under ABR Restoring cream that I reviewed in part 1. In 2 words – this product is pretty useless.
My note: 3 out of 5.
Holy Land Eye Therapy Eye Contour Balm.
Next is eye care. I’ve tried two products from this brand, the first being Eye Therapy Eye Contour Balm . This hypoallergenic cream is supposed to smooth and hydrate the sensitive eye skin, reduce puffiness and tone it. Also it reduces wrinkles.
My eyes are very sensitive so it’s not easy for me to find a cream that wouldn’t irritate them and would do a great job at hydration and have some anti-aging properties. This balm is pretty light and got absorbed very quickly, didn’t irritate my eyes. But it didn’t do any wonders either as my dark circles and wrinkles stayed right where they were.
My note: 4- out of 5.
Holy Land Coenzyme Energizer Q 10 Eye Cream.
Right after I’ve used up the Eye Balm I decided to choose something more nourishing for the winter. I chose Coenzyme Energizer Q 10 Eye Cream. This cream has a lot more anti-aging ingredients.
This was a complete disaster for me. I didn’t like this product at all: it had a very thick texture which didn’t want to get absorbed, it just stayed on top of my skin as a film. I didn’t see any positive effect from this product but it did irritate my eyes. I stopped using it after a couple of times.
My note: 2 out of 5.
Now I would like to add some positive reviews into this sea of negative ones. I just really think that as this brand is a professional one, it contains a lot more of working ingredients than any “ordinary” skin care products. Apparently, these ingredients were not a match for my skin but as I said, I’ve heard so many great reviews on this brand and the products that I did like are truly great.
Holy Land Lactolan Peeling Cream.
Let me start here by cleansing: a peeling cream and a mask. I think that Lactolan Peeling Cream is one of best products of Holy Land Cosmetics. This peeling cleanses skin, makes it surface smooth, enhances rejuvenation processes while hydrating the skin.
It does everything that it says it should! I am really happy with this products. I used it in this video where I show how I deeply cleanse my skin. The result is renewed, fresh, healthy skin!
My note: 5+ out of 5.
Holy Land Special Mask.
After Lactolan Peeling Cream I normally use a cleansing mask, Holy Land Special Mask. It’s for oily skin, cleanses the pores, makes them smaller.
Basically this is just a clay mask. It’s maybe just a bit softer than just standard clay, but it also costs more. I like using it after the peeling cream a lot, this duo makes a difference for my skin.
My note: 5 out of 5.
Holy Land Double Action Drying Lotion Demi Make-Up.
I’ve mentioned this product in so many videos: Double Action Drying Lotion Demi Make-Up. This is acne spot treatment, the best I have ever tried! You apply it directly onto your pimple and it will dry it up!
It does its job really good! But I still need to apply concealer on top as it doesn’t cover a lot. I’ve already repurchased this product and I will do that again as soon as I run out!
My note: 5 out of 5.
Holy Land Sunbrella Demi Make-Up SPF 36.
This is the last product that I’m going to review: Sunbrella Demi Make-Up SPF 36. This is a sunscreen and a tinted moisturizer in one.
This product has a very light mousse texture, it is not greasy at all. It’s invisible once applied but the face looks so much better! It is a perfect shade match with Double Action Demi Makeup Lotion so sometimes I only apply those 2 products in the summer and enjoy a perfect looking fresh face!
My note: 5 out of 5.
This is it! In the end as you can guess, I didn’t like most of the Holy Land Cosmetics products that I’ve tried. I purchased all of them myself and frankly it was a money waste for 80%. So if you consider it, don’t buy the whole skin care line at once like I did, start with one product and then see if your skin likes it or not. And of course, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me!
