Fragrances…I love them. My memories are associated with smells. Summer is a salty, burned skin beach, with sea notes, spring is green and fresh, winter is jasmine, vanilla and tonka beans, autumn is leather. I love fragrances and the more I learn about them, the more fragrances I discover the more I tell myself that there are brands that make ‘my’ fragrances, the ones that I adore. Hermès is one of those brands, I love practically all of its perfumes, not speaking about the Hermessence line which is just…gorgeous. In 2013 a new fragrance came out: Jour d’Hermès.
The packaging is very stylish: white box with Hermès logo on it. The fragrance itself comes in a pretty heavy glass packaging in a minimalistic style with only the name Jour d’Hermès printed on the inside.
It comes in 30, 50 and 85 ml versions and a 125ml refill.
Jour d’Hermès, Hermès’ signature scent, represents the ultimate in elegance and delicacy. It is the essence of femininity in a bottle; a profusion of flowers. From dawn until dusk, experience a luminous and sensual floral eau de parfum.

This perfume represents femininity for me. It’s elegant and fresh at the same time, perfect for a lady! It’s very warm-hearted but it’s kind of covered by the ‘first impression’ made by citrus and flowers. I can’t say it’s a citrus scent, they definitely add a nice touch and freshness to this perfume. This is not ‘just another citrus/floral scent’, not at all. This fragrance is original and yet typical for Hermès: elegant, fresh, ‘expensive’. Nothing more, nothing less.
