Good skin starts by good, profound cleansing. You can’t have beautiful skin without cleansing it properly. It seems like a cleanser is a very basic product and yet sometimes it takes you a while to find one that would be perfect. Some of them dry your skin out, others don’t give you that ‘clean’ feeling.

Clarins is a brand that makes products of skincare of good quality so I thought I’d try out something new. As my skin is combination and gets oily during the summer, I decided to go for Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with tamarind and purifying micro-pearls for combination and oily skin:

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser Product Description

Take care of the needs of combination and oily skin with The Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Tamarind, an effective and gentle formulation designed to soothe and cleanse easily irritated skin.

Providing just the right amount of moisturisation, this cleanser rinses easily and protects the skin from the drying effects of hard water. It leaves skin supple, fresh and comfortable.

Lather a small amount in the hands and apply to the face in light, massaging motions. Avoid the delicate eye area and avoid tugging at the skin. Use cool water in the morning to revive tired skin, and warm water in the evening.

  • Gypsophila extract helps create a fine, lightweight cleansing foam

  • Polymnia preserves skin’s moisture balance

  • Cottonseed softens

  • Tamarind keeps pores clean

  • Micro-Pearls purify

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser is white with blue micro-pearls:

Here I added some water and spread it around my hand, I didn’t see it foaming. But normally I use Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with my Clarisonic and then it does foam pretty easily!

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser Review:

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser cleanses really well, my skin feels fresh and soft every time I’ve washed my face. It doesn’t dry my skin out but it does remove all the excess skin oils that were on the surface of the skin, which is great for oily skin! A little disadvantage is that sometimes the foam gets into my skin (when I apply too much of the product) and then it starts irritating it a bit. Other than that, there are no disadvantages to this product! I think it’s a great everyday cleanser for combination or oily skin.

Overall Note: A.
