Easter weekend is over and it was such a nice weather in Riga so basically we spent the whole 4 days outside enjoying open bars, nature, first sun and just having a great time!

Friday we went to a nice very typical place in Riga: Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs. It’s a nice restaurant bar situated in Vecriga (Old Town), in a very small street. If you don’t know it’s there you would definitely just pass by but it’s definitely worth going into! There’s live music in the weekends, the food is really good, the atmosphere is nice and the prices are really affordable! We spent about 50 euros for 4 people including starter, main dishes and drinks! Also the design is pretty nice:

That’s red-eyed me!

Saturday was even warmer than Friday so we decided to go for a walk and passed by the open terrace at Galleria Riga shopping mall. It has some open cafe’s on the roof from where you can enjoy a great view on Riga, drink a glass of a refreshing drink and eat a delicious dessert!

Me with Riga behind me!

The prices in Galleria Riga are pretty high for Latvian standards: a glass of wine is about 4-5 euros, desserts are around 6-7 euros so mainly the visitors of these cafe’s are tourists. My yummy sunny tiramisu:

Then we went for a long walk in the city center! People in Riga love bicycles. They are literally everywhere:

I love boats! I was so happy when I saw that finally we can go on a boat tour in Bastion Hill (Bastejnkalns) park!

This is also the place where I find a mini pont des arts! :D

Did I tell you that I love caramel frappuccino a lot? So I was really, really sad when I discovered there’s no Starbucks in Riga. I found something similar though: Coffee Inn and frappuccino tastes pretty good in there!

And this is me! Before going for a walk :)

How did you spend your Easter weekend?
