Today I will explain how I did this coral grey makeup! Here is my step by step photo makeup tutorial! If you think that grey and coral is not the best combination…let me prove you wrong!
Here are all the products that I used:
Face – foundation & concealer
Step 1
First I applied a bb cream all over my face. I used mentholatum silky aqua bb . I like its natural matte finish and the fact and it doesn’t shine too much – perfect for the summer!
Step 2
I used another bb cream – missha perfect cover – to cover my dark under eye circles!
Step 3
My skin is best clean at the moment but I did have 1 little pimple that had to be taken care of. I used holy land double action which is an anti acne spot treatment. Besides drying up the blemishes it also covers them as it is a demi makeup lotion!
Eyes – eyeshadow
Step 4
I applied bourjois khol kajal on my waterline to intensify the eyes and make sure my lashes look fuller.
Step 5
I used Maybelline color tattoo in 50 eternal silver (60 silver strike in USA) as an eyeshadow base.
Step 6
I have a mini Dior 5 eyeshadow palette with grey shades (Dior 5 couleurs iridiscent 019 smoky light). First I used the darker shade on my outer V (6a) then I added the lighter shade on the center on my eyelids (6b).
Step 7
Then I used Lancôme travel palette (I bought it in a Duty Free shop in the airport and I think it’s the only place where you can get it). They key to mixing cool tones and warm tones in the same makeup is for example mix cool and warm tones for your eye look. Then a warm toned blush & lipstick will fit perfectly in! First I intensified the outer eye corners a bit more with dark brown eye shadow (7a). I also blended it out into the crease. Then I used a taupe grey shade on the lower lash line and a bit in the corners of my eyes (7b). Finally I blended the eye shadow out using a warm coral bronze shade which I also applied on the crease (7c).
Step 8
I used an ivory matte highlighter shade in the inner corner of my eyes and below the eye brows.
Face – powder, contour & blush
Step 9
I used a white transparent fixing powder by essence to fix the makeup.
Step 10
I wanted my face to have a pretty summery glow so I applied some Guerlain meteorites in 03 doré everywhere except my chin and nose.
Step 11
I used my favorite bronzing palette empreinte de chanel to give my face a nice sunkissed look. I applied it using the bronzing technique.
Step 12
I wanted some coral on my cheeks so I used MAC Melba Blush.
Eyes – eyeliner & mascara
Step 13
I used rimmel micro liner very close to my lashes to make the eyes more intense.
Step 14
I finished my eye makeup with some Eva mosaic mascara!
Lips
Step 15
Finally I applied some coral lipstick – MAC Pure Zen.
And here is the total look! What do you think? Do you like it?
