Last week I already started my reviews on hair removal techniques and I talked about razors. This week I’ll continue reviewing hair removal techniques and I will talk to you about hair removal creams! Veet is of course the brand for the hair removal creams so I decided to test Veet In Shower Cream for Sensitive/Dry Skin!

The packaging is a squeeze tube with thick white cream in it. You also get a sponge with 2 sides. Soft pink one is meant to apply the cream with and the white side is more rough. You use the white side of the sponge to remove the hair with.

My Opinion:

I’ve tried Veet in shower cream a couple of times now and the first one I did as the packaging suggested: I applied it on my legs, waited for about a minute and then started taking a shower. It got washed off my legs completely within seconds and of course the cream didn’t have enough time to do its thing. So I found it completely useless! It just doesn’t work under the shower. You have to wait longer before stepping under the shower or avoid any water on your legs which is everything but practical. But as a standard hair removal cream it did work pretty well: the second time I applied it on my legs, waiting for about 5 minutes and only then started taking a shower. The result was quick and great: my legs were almost 100% hair-free and very smooth. The effect lasted for about 2-3 days, then I needed to use this cream again. All in all, I like this hair removal cream, you just need to be patient before stepping under the shower!

I hid this picture under the spoiler because I’m afraid it might scare a great deal of people. Here is a macro picture of a part of my leg before applying Veet in shower cream:
