The weather’s been not so nice lately: it’s been raining a lot! I can’t say that I’m depressed but I just feel like the weather has been sneaky stealing our summer! So anyways, I felt like wearing darker shades. Smoky eyes is the best anti-depressant in this case ;)
For my face I’ve used the good old Revlon Colorstay foundation. I was filming videos and this foundation has been my default choice for so long! I’ve powdered it off using Dior Forever powder and a fluffy powder blush. For my cheeks I used MAC Melba blush and Guerlain bronzer.
I wanted to create a good dark base so first I’ve used cream eye shadow: Catrice 050. It’s a dark profound brown with a touch of gold. Then I’ve used an old limited edition palette by Chanel: tentation cuivrée eyeshadow quad. I’ve used all the shades (the darkest one on the eyelids and on the lower lash line, the upper left in the crease, the pinkish one on the center of the eyelids and the highlighter under the eye brows and in the inner eye corners). I added just a tiny bit of Blackheart in the outer corners. I finished the look with Catrice mascara.
I decided to go for nude lips for this look. First I applied MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC20 on my lips to ‘erase’ them. Actually MAC also have a special product for that: lip erase. Then I added a countour with the lightest shade of Make Up For Ever 100 pencil. And final touch: a bit of YSL lip gloss #2!
I hope you like this makeup!
